Program Coordinator

If so, it sounds like you may have what it takes to take on the exciting role of a Program Coordinator with the TravelBud team!

As a Program Coordinator at TravelBud, you’ll be communicating with people from all over the world who show interest in any of TravelBud’s programs. You’ll be responsible for giving them all the information, advice and encouragement they need to start a life-changing journey of education, adventure and personal growth.

Like the rest of the TravelBud team, you’ll need to be a great people person and work closely with our Program Manager to ensure our programs run smoothly and our applicants are well looked after.

Your day will consist of:

  • Vetting applicants with our program partners to ensure suitability on the program.
  • Responding to email enquiries in a timely manner ​
  • ​Calling prospective applicants who request to speak to TravelBud – US applicants may require calls outside of regular office hours, on certain days of the week.
  • Conducting Skype calls and info sessions with prospective participants.
  • Conducting interviews with applicants ​to assess suitability for chosen program.
  • ​Needs analysis ​​with each applicant to ensure what they are applying for suits what we can offer.
  • Following up with leads and reporting back to program manager if improvements in the sales process can be made. ​
  • Reporting back to the Program Manager with constructive ways to make your job easier. ​
  • Liaising with the rest of the TravelBud team on issues and successes.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate or preferably higher educational qualification
  • Have taught English or volunteered abroad before
  • Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
  • Sales skills
  • Proficient in computer skills

Program Support Adviser (Latin America)

If so, it sounds like you may have what it takes to take on the exciting role of a Program Support Coordinator with the TravelBud team!

As a Program Support Adviser at TravelBud, you’ll be responsible for helping people from all over the world who have been confirmed to participate in one of TravelBud’s programs in Latin America. Our participants contact us by email, phone and Skype, so having strong written and spoken interpersonal skills will get you far.

Like the rest of the TravelBud team, you’ll need to be a great people person and work closely with our Program Development Specialist to ensure our programs run smoothly and our participants are well looked after.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Offering pre-departure support for participants
  • Conducting Skype calls with participants
  • Collecting all required documentation from participants
  • Reporting back to the Program Development Specialist
  • Liaising with the rest of the TravelBud team
  • Liaising with local providers for cultural activities
  • Executing in-country cultural activities for participants
