Enrollments Coordinator – Cape Town

If so, it sounds like you may have what it takes to take on the exciting role of an Enrolments Coordinator with the TravelBud team in Cape Town!

As an Enrolments at TravelBud, you’ll be communicating with people from all over the world who show interest in any of TravelBud’s programs. You’ll be responsible for giving them all the information, advice and encouragement they need to start a life-changing journey of education, adventure and personal growth.

Like the rest of the TravelBud team, you’ll need to be a great people person and work closely with our Enrolments Manager to ensure our programs run smoothly and our applicants are well looked after.

Your day will consist of:

  • Vetting applicants with our program partners to ensure suitability on the program.
  • Responding to email enquiries in a timely manner ​
  • ​Calling prospective applicants who request to speak to TravelBud – US applicants may require calls outside of regular office hours, on certain days of the week.
  • Conducting Skype calls and info sessions with prospective participants.
  • Conducting interviews with applicants ​to assess suitability for chosen program.
  • ​Needs analysis ​​with each applicant to ensure what they are applying for suits what we can offer.
  • Following up with leads and reporting back to program manager if improvements in the sales process can be made. ​

Support Facilitator/Assistant – Cape Town

If so, it sounds like you may have what it takes to take on the exciting role of a Support Facilitator/Assistant with the TravelBud team in Cape Town.

As a Support Facilitator/Assistant at TravelBud, you’ll be communicating with people from all over the world who have signed up for one of our Teach Abroad programs. You’ll be responsible for assisting with pre departure and post arrival processes, advice and encouragement they need to embark on the life-changing journey of education, adventure and personal growth.

Marketing Intern – Cape Town

Have you taught or volunteered abroad before? Do you have a passion to help others discover this life-changing adventure? Do you have a love for the written word and are social media savvy? You may be just what we’re looking for!

TravelBud is a young, small, but rapidly growing teach and volunteer abroad agency with customers from all over the English-speaking world. As a marketing intern you’ll be responsible for helping the marketing manager get the message out about our programs and what it’s like to teach English abroad across multiple channels such as email, social media, our website and other online advertising sites.

You’ll need to be based in Cape Town and be able to work from our offices in Newlands with our team of 20 and 30-somethings who are passionate about traveling, teaching and volunteering abroad.

The job will be for an initial 3 month internship for an immediate start, with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter dependent on performance and business needs at that time.

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate?

  • Has previously traveled abroad before. Participating in a teach, volunteer or an internship abroad is a bonus.
  • A flexible attitude to work – we’re a startup and tasks and the demands of the job change quickly as the business grows
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Tech savvy – we work primarily online, so knowing your way around the web and digital platforms is essential to making the most of your time with us
  • A strong command of written English and an understanding of how our customers consume media online
  • A solid understanding of what makes engaging content on social media
